About Todo List
A simple task list that keeps itself in your browser's local storage. Add items, tick them off, and they are still there next time you open the page — no account and no sync.
Where your tasks live
Items are stored locally in this browser on this device. They survive closing the tab and restarting the machine, but they do not travel to your phone and they are not backed up. Clearing site data, using a private window, or opening the page in a different browser all start you with an empty list.
Why do my old items still feel overwhelming?
Because lists accumulate faster than they empty. A task that has survived three weeks untouched is usually either not important or not actually a single task. Delete the first kind and split the second — a list you trust is short enough to read in one glance.
Should I use this instead of a proper task app?
For today's work, it is often better — it opens instantly and there is nothing to configure. For anything with deadlines, shared responsibility or reminders that must reach you elsewhere, use a real task manager. This is a scratch list, and its lack of sync is a genuine limitation rather than a simplification.
